Are You wanting to develop a stronger bond,

You’re invited to spend a weekend with Scott and realize how to get you and your horse started on one of the most fulfilling journeys you both will ever experience. Not only will you learn things you can do to help your horse, Scott will clearly explain how the horse thinks and feels, and why it reacts and responds the way it does!
With Scott’s laid back easy going style, extensive knowledge, and teaching ability along with countless demonstrations he performs with his personal horses, everyone will have an informative and enjoyable experience.
Whether you’re just beginning with your horsemanship or are more experienced and want to go the next level, you ride English or Western, trail riding or dressage, Scott can help you and your horse achieve the relationship you’ve been searching for. Scott will provide a one to two hour demonstration during each clinic covering various proper horsemanship techniques.
2008 Clinic Prices: $300.00 per person for a three day clinic and $385.00 per person for a four day clinic.
CLINIC DESCRIPTIONS COLT STARTING Lots of preparation is taken getting the colts halter broke, willingly accepting the saddle, and moving out under saddle. Learn to get your colt soft and supple in the halter. Utilize various techniques to properly get your colt ready to saddle, accept the snaffle bit and prepare him to be mounted and ridden. An excellent foundation for your colt's future education. Also an excellent opportunity to restart a problem horse. With proper preparation riding is easy! (4 day class) |

BASIC HORSEMANSHIP
This class covers fine tuning your groundwork and lots of saddle time getting our horses soft, supple, patient, and respectful. An excellent class designed for a horse you need to restart or problem horses! (3 or 4 day class)
ADVANCED HORSEMANSHIP
This class is for those of us who have really solidified the basics with our horses and are ready to move on to more difficult maneuvers. This class covers such areas as backing circles and serpentines, haunches in, lead departures and more. (3 or 4 day class)
COW WORKING
Learn how to handle cattle quietly and efficiently using some of the same principals we use in horsemanship. You will learn how to read cattle, know what they will do before they do it and use cattle as a training tool for your horse! (3 or 4 day class)
RANCH ROPING
This class covers everything from building a loop to setting up different shots and laying cattle down. You will learn to properly tie your rope off, have your horse leading up and backing using your lasso roper while tied off to your horse! This is an excellent and informative class whether you’re a beginner or want to fine tune your skills. (3 or 4 day class)
